Belated thanks to the team from The Challenge Network who came to help us out on Sunday 8th September.  Their young volunteers restored two of the main footpaths on E field and did an excellent job, as the photos show.

Evidently the day was a great success for the The Challenge too. Michaela, the programme leader, kindly thanked NFAS for inviting them in and said  “They absolutely loved it and were thrilled with the free flowers and veg they got given” – and the mentor who led the team on the day said “this is probably the best day I’ve had throughout The Challenge!”

The NFAS committee and The Challenge are now exploring opportunities for working together again in the future.
